Dr Stan Steindl - Part 2

Season 4 Episode 4

P _Soupers – thanks for tuning in – this week it’s part two of my chat with Dr. Stan Steindl, clinical psychologist, author, expert in Motivational Interviewing and Compassion Focussed Therapy and Youtube influencer.

We cover loads in our chat – you can hear my review of Stan's book, 'The Gifts of Compassion - how to understand and overcome suffering'. We go on to talk about the development of the compassionate other, the fears, block and resistances to compassion and how we can use these to guide our approaches in introducing compassion to organisations. We finish with a brilliant takeaway from Stan, where he introduces a metaphor for all of us in the development of our own compassionate approach.
